He is a grasshopper indeed. You may have thought to show off the unique markings that would make him more identifiable.

Positives: The faces of insects are oft the most impacting. It is slightly bordering on original and commonplace. But commonplace can be a positive trait in nature photos, as all nature is still a unique work of art. It strikes me as a lost little guy looking for a way home just in his "expression" alone.

Negatives: Again, he is not very identifiable. There is no balance in this picture. I am only saying this from experience, as I have taken photos of animals and insects and plants, and I never captured enough; if that makes sense.
His legs blend together, while macro can be a wonderful way to bring out the artistic beauty of the insect, you want to be sure to capture the right amount.

I hope this was helpful. All in all you have a chosen a green paradise. Grasshopper is right at home there. Very lovely photo.
